Consuming Kids: Marketers' Impact on Children's Health

When Brunico, Inc. moved its Advertising and Promoting to Kids conference to the Yale Club they had no idea that we would be there too.  Fortunately, we had friends at Yale as distressed about marketing to children as we were.  The event spurred the prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, to publish an editorial on the harms of marketing to children. As in the previous year, the summit was followed by a protest of The Golden Marble Awards and marked the last time the awards were given—and the last Advertising and Promoting to Kids conference.
