Government Abandons Children to Big Food

A government-convened panel that was intended to discuss ways to limit marketing junk food to kids instead became a PR opportunity for the junk food industry. With rising rates of childhood obesity and diabetes, the Federal Trade Commission should be working to help children—but it is doing exactly the opposite by giving voice to food marketers.
